This type of argument is basically rooted according to personal preferences of the person working out. Some people might say that you can only lose weight by cutting down on carbs completely while there are people who think that cutting carbs completely is not necessary at all. In such instance, both parties are correct in their way because weight loss is actually based on calorie restriction. So, it is understandable that one can cut calories by reducing the intake of carbs, fat or protein, or a combination of these. The truth is, there are both good and bad carbs, it is actually a matter of how you decide which are good and which aren’t.

For example, food that contains bad carbs are such as white bread, potatoes, white cereals, soft drinks, ice cream, instant white rice, and ‘fat-free’ foods. Basically, it is anything white has been processed, and generally they contain less nutrients and more carbohydrates. Whole the good carbs are whole grain bread, legumes, brown rice, lettuce, broccoli, spinach, sweet potatoes, pasta, apples, pears, grapefruit, and celery.

The most important key to body building is, never overwork yourself, so if you think it is necessary for you to split up your workouts through the week, go ahead to do so.

A good body building routine will help you to increase your muscle strength, and at the same time maintain the integrity of your bones, and of course also improve your balance, coordination, and mobility. You might know not, but, body building can even help to reduce and relieve the signs and symptoms of many chronic diseases.
