Carrot Diet
Carrot For Weight Loss
The main problem of today is: most of us are so busy with
work, family, and social life, it is hard for us to juggle
with so many things in life. However, the same features that
make for an enjoyable, active lifestyle can also lead to significant
weight gain as the years go on. Not having enough time to
exercise, eating at restaurants, this on the go modern lifestyle
has done nothing at all for our weight loss.
So, you decide to go for weight loss plans, which will be
another greater challenge. You see, most weight loss plans
are complicated, requiring several hours of your already insufficient
spare time each week, or even everyday for some cases. Think
about all the trouble of researching for a weight loss, join
a group, prepare for the special meals, count calories and
etc. These are all the reasons that why people fail their
diet due to the fact that people don’t have the time
to follow them properly, to the letter. And not following
a weight loss plan properly will be harmful as it can lead
to yo-yo dieting, guilt, and binging. Wouldn’t it be
great if there was a very simple weight loss plan that really
works?
Fortunately, there are a few ways that you can follow. The
‘add a carrot’ plan is one of these very simple
weight loss plans that seem to work. But, this might not the
plan for you if you have a lot of weight to lose, or your
weight issue is becoming a medical issue. However, if you
just want to lose a couple of pounds and improve your overall
health at the same time, this might work for you. Here is
what you should do: each time before you have a meal or a
snack, eat a carrot first. This means a large, peeled carrot,
instead of those ‘baby carrots’ that come pre-peeled.
If it is the case, you should eat at least four or five before
each meal or snack.
So how does this work? The logic is simple. Carrot is a high
fiber, filling, low calorie food. If you eat a carrot before
eating anything else, there won’t be much room left
in your stomach for other food. Of course, to achieve this
purpose, you can eat some other foods such as some salad,
or a few radishes, or even an apple. But carrots are the most
convenient and portable, and you can buy them once a week
in bulk, so they make the perfect choice.
When you eat out at the restaurant, you can follow the same
rule too. Now you may not want to pull a carrot out of your
bag and start munching away! What you could do is order a
salad with the dressing on the side as an appetizer. Eat the
salad and leave the dressing, or if you must, dip your fork
into the dressing now and then for a little flavor. When you
have finished your salad, you can just order anything else
that you want, stop when you are full. That’s all you
need to do. Eventually you will eat less and you will lose
weight.
It’s especially important to remember the carrot before
you have a snack. In fact, many of the calories people consume
are during the snacks, not at meals. This is why you should
remember the carrot before you eat anything else. And be honest
with yourself, if you eat your carrot and you’re not
hungry for the cookie anymore, don’t eat the cookie.
But if you’re still hungry and you still want it, have
it.
There are just many advantages of this plan. It is probably
the simplest eating or weight loss plan you’ll ever
encounter. And, basically there is only one thing that you
need to do. Other than losing weight, you’ll add nutrients
to your diet using this plan. Eventually that can lead to
better overall health.
