Decisions Leading
To Stress
Decisions that we make can potentially change our
whole life, read on to find out how to make good decisions.
Generally, what we decide to do in life will determine how
our life will turn out to be. When bad decisions are made,
we are actually increasing the level of stressors that stimulate
our stress. While when we make good decisions, our life will
be very rewarding.
After spending my entire life to study human beings, I realize
that, a lie is more easily to be accepted than the truth.
This is making the life of honest people harder since most
of the truth frustrates us. However, it is up to us to decide
wether we want to continue a life of truth, or resort to lying
for our survival. Do you know that, by telling a lie, more
problems can be caused than what it is worth, so we know,
when we lie, a bad decision will be made, and the results
will be an increase of stressors. While keeping it real will
not eliminate the stressors since others will potentially
make you mad, but at least it lessen your guilt.
We all have decisions in our hands to decide which path we
want to take in life. You need to decide that, do you want
to go down the road of failure or do you wish to travel the
road to success? If you choose the path to failure, you might
find your self-overwhelmed by stress all your life. While
when you choose the road to success, the ending results will
be rewarding and challenging since you are prepared to face
the potential risks involved.
Here is a simple example, if you are deciding on buying a
new car and you can’t decide which would you buy, then
this is a big decision that potentially changes your life
forever. If you choose to buy an expensive car and but later
only find that you can’t possibly afford the vehicle,
then you know your decision will stress you more. We do not
really need an expensive vehicle to carry us or will cost
us a fortune to repair. Expensive vehicles include higher
insurance coverage, higher maintenance and so forth. As you
can see, you are just finding trouble and adding stressors
to your life unless you have too much money to spare. What
about a house? Are you planning to purchase a new home? Then
you need to sit down to make the decision to calculate the
insurance costs, lawyer fees, mortgage repayment, and other
details of the transaction that you have to pay. If you have
the money to move forward, do not jump at the first offering
available to you. Always research the marketplace carefully
to learn about the differences of mortgage loans to minimize
your stressors in future. You will never know what tomorrow
is going to be like, so you have to always be prepared for
the worst.
Or are you planning to marry? If you are, then calculate
the increase of financial responsibilities, increase of stressors
and etc. Are you ready to get married? Making the wrong decision
before you are ready can lead you to unmanageable stress.
Consider everything before you act can save some heartache
in the end. Maybe you and your mate are considering a child.
Do you know what this will lead you? You can forget about
freedom, because raising children takes a lot of time, responsibility,
pain and suffering. Can you financial afford to have another
person in your life at this time? Are you only thinking of
the rewarding feeling of having a child?
Have you thought of running your own business? Have evaluated
all responsibilities, include taxes and other details and
expenses? Is the business a source that will ensure a good
income? Making good decisions plays an important role in everything
we do. If we are willing to learn about stress management
techniques that help us to cope with stress and minimize stressors,
we will have a potentially healthy and full life. A good decision
may not be rewarding all the time, but in most cases, good
decisions bring us a life filled with happiness. There are
plenty of things for us to consider when making decisions
and this may cause a small amount of stress. But, in a long
run, it will be fruitful.
