Dog Influenza
Did You Know That Dogs Can Catch The Flu, Too?
The canine flu or, more commonly known as the dog flu, the
canine influenza or the dog influenza, is a very common disease
seen among the doctors.
For those who did not know, dogs catch the flu almost as
often as humans do, even more, though they do not always show
all the symptoms that humans show, they are at the risk of
getting dog flu.
Now, there is a virus on the large, which is the avian virus,
has unexpectedly crossed the ranks of species from birds to
humans. So, how can we kill this virus? How do we handle the
possible complications?
Does this virus cross over to other species? Are my dogs
and other animals safe around and after the outbreak of the
bird virus here? The dog influenza, fortunately, remained
sequestered within the animal. The dog influenza requires
the same care a child needs. When sleeping do pet your dog
a little every time you pass its place.
If you keep birds at home, it is time you set them free.
The avian flu is transmitted through contact with the birds’
excreta and human mucus. As long as this condition is not
fulfilled, the avian flu will not infect humans any more.
The contagiousness from man to man is almost negligible. So,
the pandemic which might have broken out was averted by mine
and Sir’s idea to quarantine all the infected birds
in one place.
Coming back to the dog influenza, people tended to offer
advice, a hug whatever and whoever came from them with grateful
thanks. You dog can catch a cold, sneeze, have runny eyes,
and feel miserable just like a human being. This is sad of
course, and good thing that there is medicine for it, go to
the doctor and find out what treatment should you follow to
get your dog cured and comfortable.
Though people were scared and abandoned their pets who contacted
the flu at kennels, and even on the road, the dog influenza
has not been proven to have the ability to cross over the
species.
