Fast Weight Loss
Fast Weight Loss Is Not The Ultimate Solution, Shed
Pounds The Healthy Way!
As a result of fast changes in our culture, fast weight loss
is in much higher demand than slow and steady weight loss.
The majority people are looking for ways to fit into that
perfect dress in six weeks time, and are not interested in
the ways that can make them get the result six months later
down the road. The keyword today is fast, and for this reason,
a multitude of fast weight loss diets and plans have flooded
the market.
This high demand has brought the weight loss products, the
books and the diets themselves into the market and they are
selling like wildfire spreading. What do doctors have to say
about fast weight loss ideas?
The Doctor Says…
All doctors and medical professionals agree that the only
way to healthily lose weight and to maintain the new attained
weight is to lose extra weight gradually over a long period
of time. Rapidly losing weight is not encouraged for a number
of reasons, some of them pertaining to the method itself and
therefore the immediate effects of fast weight loss, while
other effects show up only in the long run.
It is for this latter reason that it can be so difficult
to criticize crash diet plans. No matter which method you
choose to lose weight, rapidly or otherwise, the ultimate
goal is still about losing weight. There are many y fast weight
loss programs that claim to produce the desired result, people
do not consider beyond the fact of obtaining the desired result,
only a gradual losing of weight will benefit you both in the
short and long run.
If we wish to be health conscious, we should look at the
bigger picture, instead of only the fact of losing or gaining
weight but as well as the explanation and answering our own
questions about the weight loss process. If you lost five
pounds by dehydrating yourself, it is an obviously unhealthy
way to quickly lose five pounds, similarly, gaining five pounds
by building muscle mass could be a healthy gain of five pounds,
all depends on your goal and personal situation.
Crash diets usually refer to drastically cutting the number
of calories consumed. For instance, an adult who normally
consumes 2500 calories on a daily basis might cut their caloric
intake to 1000 calories a day, and at this rate it will take
roughly 2.33 days to lose a pound, meaning that a ten day
diet will make you lose about four pounds.
Although this type of crash diet will produce results, it
is a disturbing experience for the body. Fast weight loss
results in fatigue, drowsiness, irritability, inability to
focus and etc, depending on individual’s condition.
However, the bottom line is that the effect is not a good
one, despite the exact matter of fast weight loss that was
taken.
