Heart Disease Symptoms

The Most Common Heart Disease Symptoms?

If we wish to fight against any disease, you will first have to know when it attacks. The attack of the disease is usually heralded by certain symptoms which help in the diagnosing and chalking out of the required remedial treatment.

It can be very fatal if diseases are developed without any physical signs. Some of these diseases which are silent killers include cancer, heart disease, blood pressure and etc.

How To Determine Heart Disease When There Are No Early Heart Disease Symptoms?

Actually, there are not many outward heart disease symptoms in the early stages and therefore it is very difficult to know you have it till it is very late; sometimes too late. So, what should you do to determine whether you have heart disease or not when you do not show obvious symptoms?

First of all you should be aware of your medical family history. Any family history of heart disease will put you into the high risk group. In addition, if you have the habit of drinking alcohol on a regular basis and smoke, you will increase that risk multiple times.

In such cases, you should have periodic tests, at least every two to three years in order to check out if any such developments have taken place that herald the beginning of heart disease.

If you do go for regular check ups, even if there are no outward heart disease symptoms you will be able to know when you develop the disease and can take adequate measures to reverse it or keep in under control.

In the later stages there are some very important heart disease symptoms, such as chest pains, pain in the left hand, unexplained long headaches, nausea, excessive sweating and etc. Other than that, the other symptoms include shortness of breath, lower limbs swelling and a dry and persistent cough.

If you experience heart disease symptoms such as heart palpitations, cyanosis, acute chest pain that comes and goes after resting, pain in the chest and left had pain accompanies by light headedness and extreme sweating, then you need to have immediate medical attention.

When you know that you have heart disease, it is better that you have your doctor’s phone number readily available in case of any emergency. Besides, all your family members should be educated on what to do in case of a heart attack because when this occurs every moment can spell the difference between life and death. Immediate action and medical attention might just save your life!
