Liposuction Pills
Are Liposuction Pills Effective?
Liposuction is one of the most wanted elective plastic surgery
over the centuries. There has been study on the speculation
of a liposuction pill that stops blood supply to fat cells.
While it might cause extensive weight loss during the first
month, whether or not it is safe has yet to be determined.
So far, the test subjects have been mice. There are supplements
and unsubstantiated claims of pills being able to increase
metabolism and increase fat burning potential, but they cannot
be trusted and are controversial, to say the least.
Beware Of Ephedra
The return of ephedra in these pills and potions has been
a great concern for all. A recent decision from a judge ruled
that ephedra if in small doses were not harmful. In fact,
it is still legal in Canada, as long as it was not combined
with anything else. The claims of ephedra-based supplements
being marketed as a liposuction pill may be looming on the
horizon. If you wish to search for more information about
the ephedra ruling, one has only to surf to their favorite
search engine and type in, “Ephedra is Back” (without
quotation marks). The results will be 1.58 million articles.
Websites that offer a liposuction pill as solution are trying
to convince the overweight, slightly too heavy to morbidly
obese that one or two tablets a day will burn fat, without
the use of diet and exercise. And obviously, to those who
want the immediate result of weight loss without doing the
work, the cost of a liposuction pill, no matter how high,
is indeed great news.
When a quick and easy solution is offered, people will convince
themselves it will work. There are even advertisements boasting,
“If you are just looking to lose five or six pounds,
this is not for you.” Advertisers know that the idea
of this advertisement of diet supplement or enhancement is
not for some people who want to lose weight will only lure
them into purchasing. What’s more, if there are complaints
about the liposuction pill not working, they have an instant
“out,” because they can claim their advertisements
warn that the product “isn’t for them.”
As a conclusion, Ephedra is not the answer to morbid obesity,
nor is it necessarily a healthy ingredient for weight-loss
supplements. Being labeled as “not dangerous,”
is not the same as being found to be healthy or useful, and
the general public should know that there is no dietary liposuction
pill. Basically, liposuction is a surgical procedure, complete
with complications and side effects.
Therefore, if there are other alternatives that will slim,
tone and shape our body, of course, we should choose the
non-surgical way so that we will not risk our life.
