Does Acupuncture Work For Male Infertility?
Infertility is a terrible thing for couples who are looking
forward to be parents. It is very likely for the couple to
go through trauma when they find that either of them suffers
from infertility. Infertility, by default, is related to women
in the general belief. But the truth is, it can affect both
men and women equally.
Male Infertility And Acupuncture
Usually, the doctor’s first advice for doubt regarding
fertility, is to undergo a series of tests to check the possibility
and causes of infertility both in the man and in the woman.
When infertility affects the man, it usually indicates sperm
deficiency. It could be low sperm count, low mobility of sperm,
or even no sperm production at all. It has been found that
in some cases the sperm is produced dead or deformed for which
they cannot swim nor penetrate the egg of the female. There
are also cases where the sperm dies too soon, but this is
very rare case scenario.
Unfortunately, there is not much that medical treatments
can do to improve the sperm production. The treatments are
usually slow, troublesome and have no guarantee as such. This
is why most men will turn to alternative medicine for cures.
Among the cures and treatments available to male acupuncture,
there are two are most favored, which are the male infertility
and acupuncture and male infertility and ayurved or herbal
treatment. These are not the only infertility treatments,
but they are the most popular ones.
The male infertility and acupuncture is generally quite safe
and efficient because it uses an age-old concept with minimum
body invasion and with high rate of success. You should only
pay extreme attention to is that the needles are sterilized
before these are used on you. However, you can always buy
a set of use-and-throw needles for every session you have.
The male infertility and acupuncture has received a lot of
attention and advertisement in the past, although they might
not always be the first choice of treatment. Many men still
prefer the totally non-invasive method of ayurvedic (herbal)
treatment instead.
