Before we ever know about green tea, we had come across with lots of other teas, such as chinese tea, english tea, red tea, and black tea are all refering to beverages for break time.

So, what do you know about green tea? Many of us keep mistakenly thought that green tea is originates from Japan; but in correction to that, green tea is actually originates from China. Only later on had become associated with many cultures in Asia. starting from Japan to the Middle East. Today, scientific research in both, Asia and the west, is providing hard evidence for the health benefits by drinking green tea. Research shown that green tea can help to reduce the risk of esophageal cancer. There are also some studies indicating that regular green tea drinkers may have lower chances of heart disease. Green tea is rich in catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG is a powerful anti-oxident that can inhibiting the growth of cancers cells, as well as kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue.

Besides, green tea does helps in reducing the total cholesterol levels, as well as, improving the ratio of good cholesterol to bad cholesterol. New studies shown that green tea can even help dieters; research found that green tea is one of the fat burning food.
