Frequently Asked Questions From Frownies Users

Q: What is Frownies?
A: Frownies are facial pads made from natural, skin-friendly materials. Frownies are applied to the forehead and corners of the eyes and mouth to gently re-educate the underlying muscles to assume their correct, relaxed and natural appearance. Frownies allow the deep expression lines to heal, leaving younger, relaxed-looking skin.

Q: How does Frownies work?
A: Frownies works by training and holding the facial muscles to stay in their relaxed position. The facial muscles are attached to the skin, so as you retrain the muscles, the skin becomes tighter. By holding the muscles in place, the skin is allowed to smooth out and wrinkles will be reduced.

Q: Do I have to use Frownies every night?
A: We recommend using Frownies every night for 30 days to receive lasting results. After you have trained your facial muscles, you should wear Frownies a minimum of three to four days a week in order to maintain proper facial posture.

Q: Can I leave Frownies on overnight?
A: Yes, it is best to leave them on overnight or during a time when your muscles can be relaxed for an extended period (about three hours).

Q: What is the age recommended to start using Frownies?
A: There is no age limit. It can be used by anyone with wrinkles.

Q: Can we use Frownies with other skin care product such as moisturizing creams?
A: You may use Frownies with toner or water before applying on the face. As for moisturizers, you may apply and wait until the cream is fully absorbed (when the face is dry) before you apply Frownies because it will not stick on the face due to the oily nature of the cream.

Q: On which part of the face can I use Frownies?
A: You can use Frownies on your forehead, corners of your eyes and mouth.

Q: How do I apply Frownies facial patches?

A: Frownies is simple and easy to use:
1. Separate Frownies by gently tearing along the perforations.
2. Moisten the shiny side of Frownies with water to activate the vegetable-based adhesive.
3. Using two fingers of one hand, stretch to smooth your skin while pressing Frownies with the fingers of your other hand. Hold in place until pad sticks.
Leave on for a minimum of three hours, but preferably overnight.
4. To remove, wet pads to release adhesive (not peel).

Q: Can’t I just use any ordinary tapes to get similar results like Frownies?
A: No, Frownies is specially designed (with the right density, cut & gum) to relax the facial muscles to reduce wrinkles. Other ordinary tapes will not give you
the results.
Density – the optimum density; strong enough to hold the muscles and gentle enough to avoid over-stressing them.
Cut – special die-cut to suit the anatomy and contour of the facial muscles.
Gum – hypoallergenic chemical-free skin-friendly plant-based gum so that there is no adverse effects on the skin. Also, with this special gum, no peeling is required.

Q: How many patches does it contain?
A: It comes with a total of 144 patches in a box which will last well for one to two months (for Corners of Eyes & Mouth) or two to four months (for Forehead Between Eyes).

Q: What is the difference between Forehead & Between Eyes and Corners of Eyes & Mouth?
A: Both are made from the same materials. The only difference is in the shape of the patches which is to be used for different facial muscles. Forehead & Between Eyes (FBE) is recommended for frown lines while Corners of Eyes & Mouth is recommended for crows feet and laughter lines. For full face, use both styles.

Q: Can we apply Frownies on sensitive skin? Can man use Frownies?
A: Yes. Frownies can be applied on any skin type including sensitive skin. Frownies can be used by both men & women.
